Next Jam:  Jams in the park (or in local NYC pubs) happen less frequently now as the primary organizer is living in Austin for a while. But... they still happen. We still have jams occasionally so check the schedule or ping Allan with an email for details.

ParkJammer.com is a bulletin board of sorts designed to track the past and future activities of an informal acoustic musical jam group that has sprung up over the last few years in New York City. It's now 2008 and we're still managing to get together when we can! We play acoustic guitars (with a little amplification), imbibe a little wine, and sing songs. Our repetoire is limited only by what any one of the musicians can play. As long as someone knows a song in its entirety then the rest of us will go along for the musical ride!

For about eight years we managed to have regular jams in Central Park. Alas, times they are a changin'. Life has managed to get in the way of regular jams (travel, throat troubles, etc). However, there remain occasional events where a select group are gathered to play, sing, consume a beverage or two, and otherwise have a blast. We had a few park and pub jams in 2005, 2006, & 2007 as time allowed. We're likely to have the occasional jam in a pub and even a couple of park jams in 2008.
